How Cute Can You Get Claire

Sometimes I sit back and look at how quickly she's grown. She is no longer my "baby", she is my "little girl". She is so much fun. She brings so much happiness to our house. With a 10 1/2 year old not knowing what mood she will be in and then Porter who we call "Porter the Reporter" because we get the WHOLE report everyday from school. Some days I laugh so hard at his report and others I wish he didn't want to report so much. Then there's happy Claire, happy. She loves to sing "Happy Yo It" translated "If your happy and you know it". She is so much into her baby dolls. She loves Elmo and "Baby Tine Tine" translated "Baby Einstein" She goes to bed easily and takes a nap easily. I just love watching her learn new things and copy other people. If I could just freeze her happy spirit I would.

Hannah's Project

Hannah had a project to do on an African American this past weekend. She was given Langston Hughes. I told her to do all that she can and then I will help her. The only thing I did was give her the idea to display her written report. She ended up changing that up a little too. I must say she did an amazing job. I was quite proud of her.
Updated news. Hannah came home from school and told me her teacher said that her project was the neatest. Way to go Hannah!

Happy Valentine's Day 2008

Wii play

I've know this for quite some time but it really hit me today. How grateful I am that Porter lives close to his cousin Cris. All of our other cousins live in Montana. They are 2 years apart but are so close. They play good together and they love to spend time with each other. This morning I caught them deeply into the Wii. The army tank game was one of the favorites. They did the cow racing too. Then they challenged each other to quite a physical boxing match. Tennis and golf were some others they played. In the pictures you can tell how much they are into it. We have had family compititions and its brought lots of togetherness in our home. I guess you could say we could literally play this until we die. Nursing homes are using the Wii to keep the older people mentally and physically active. So heres to a long life of the Wii.
