Chocolate or Cherry Pie??

These pics were taken on Thanksgiving day last year (2006). Everyone was done with dinner and dessert we all thought and to my surprise here stood two little munchkins eating there favorite pie. They were finishing one piece and cutting their next one. Can you guess which one likes cherry and which one likes chocolate?

Grandma Eva comes for a visit

This is "THE Grandma Eva catus". She gave me a couple of pieces to take home one year. Yes, it did make it all the way back to Texas! I think it has done real well. Well, since Grandma Eva has passed away my brother and I have this thing where if your catus is blooming then Grandma Eva is visiting your house. We miss her so much that we like to wish she were here, but we know she is in a good place. I do have to admit that her catus looked ten times better. She had a greener thumb than me. So here is my catus and I am quite proud of it.

Our Trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo

We went to the zoo while the kids were out on Christmas break. In Texas its much better to go when it is cold because the animals actually move around. I took my three kids and Ryan. Call me brave women! They were really good and had a great time. I love this meerkat picture because I think it looks like to women hangin out chatting about life. Porter had not been to the zoo since he was a baby. I was feeling guilty. Claire had her first visit this time but, of course she had no idea what was going on. So, hopefully we can make it back soon.
