Sesame Street Live
Several weeks ago we got tickets from Aunt Stephanie. She won them along with back stage passes. As most of you know Claire is a huge Elmo fan. She loves Grover too. She sat through the whole show and loved every minute. We invited Ryan to go because Hannah said "please don't make me go to Sesame Street." Porters comment was,"I'm really not into Sesame Street but I'll go and have fun." We had a blast and got some great pictures. Thanks Aunt Stephanie for thinking of us.
Warning..... This could make one sick
I have been a little set back on the computer lately so now I think I need to catch up on blogging. I had carpel tunnel release and trigger thumb release surgery a few weeks ago. I once again got so sick from being put under and the vicodine. I hate that stuff. Would someone remind me never to take another one again!!! I have been living offf of Advil instead. No side affects. Not having the use of one of my hands has made me appreciate both of my hands. Life is much easier and you can get things done much faster with 2.
I also was in an accident 4 days after my sugery. We (my mother-in-law,Claire,Porter,Hannah, and Ali) were all leaving Sonic to go to the park and a guy turned while I had a green light and I ended up hitting him. Then after we got unstuck from the accident he drove off. I turned and got the first part of his license plate and then Hannah started saying the last part of it and I told her to write it down. I was so proud of her for being so alert. She said I taught her to do that. I must be getting old because I can't remember telling her that. As I was giving the police my story this guy drives up and tells us he saw it all and chased him all the way down I20 but, was unable to get his license plate number. There are good samaritans still left in the world. There was another lady who stopped to see if we were ok too. Long story short, he ended up gettting 4 citations, (no license, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield to oncoming traffic/ ME) Anyway, that was my last few weeks and I am sure glad things are looking up. I don't think I could have handled much more.
